What is certain is that with technology, everything is very fast moving and it’s hard to keep up, never mind getting ahead of the curve. In addition how we behave as buyers is also changing at a very fast rate. Today consumers are very well educated in their options to purchase, and in sales techniques. It is now a buyers’ market, and we as sellers really need to understand our markets buying processes and how they make their buying decisions. In addition with the World Wide Web, and social media there is a multitude of mediums to use. Although there is a huge amount of information and resource available, it can sometimes seem very confusing and overwhelming deciding which the right route is for you and your business.

The purpose of this module is to provide you with the tools to simple, and relatively quickly (all be it with a bit of leg work) clarify:

  • What you offer, your added value and USP’s (unique selling point)
  • Identify your ideal markets
  • Identify where and how to engage with them
  • Understand your customer appeal

Once you have finished this module you will have an outline sales and marketing plan to implement in your business.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1435574551925{margin-bottom: 8px !important;}”][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=”Who is this for?” font_container=”tag:h4|text_align:left” google_fonts=”font_family:Montserrat%3Aregular%2C700|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This module has been created with the homebased, small and new business owner in mind. Where do you start?

When you first start out in your business where
and how to find your customers can seem like a
complete minefield especially if marketing is an
area you have little or no experience, and to be
honest even when you do.

Although there is a huge amount of information
and resource available, often for free, it can
sometimes seem very confusing and over
whelming deciding which is the right path for
you to follow.
The purpose of ‘The Finding Your Ideal Customer’ is to get you started
on the right track as simply and quickly as possible.

There are three things to bare in mind:

1. There is some legwork to be done. Of course you don’t have to, but
working through all or some of these exercises now will save you time, effort
and probably money later.

2. Even if you studiously work through all the tools and exercises, there is no
magic formula so inevitably things will not always work out how you
anticipated. Be prepared to experiment, learn and try again.

3. For the majority of products and services marketing is the first half of a very
special double act. The other half is Sales. Check out ‘The Elegant
Conversationalist’ for help with your sales.

For the majority of micro businesses when
developing your marketing strategy you need to
start by defining your offer. Once you are really
clear about this, identifying the right market
sectors, the value you bring, and what
differentiates you, or your USP ( unique selling
point) are a lot easier to pin point.[/stm_course_lesson][/stm_course_lessons][stm_course_lessons title=”Section 2: Business and Marketing Analysis”][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-play-circle” badge=”video” title=”Business and Marketing Analysis Video” src=”“https://www.youtube.com/embed/pWgkuIvDdc0“” width=”“560“” height=”“315“” frameborder=”“0“” meta_icon=”fa fa-play-circle”][/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-headphones” title=”Business and Market Analysis Podcast” meta=”Podcast” meta_icon=”fa fa-headphones”]Insert podcast.[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”activity” title=”Analysis Tools PDF” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-paperclip”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”activity” title=”SWOT & PEST examples PDF” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-paperclip”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”activity” title=”Offer Analysis PDF” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-paperclip”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”activity” title=”Your Offer Analysis Tool PDF” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-paperclip”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][/stm_course_lessons][stm_course_lessons title=”Section 3: Ideal Customer Profile”][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-play-circle” badge=”video” title=”Ideal customer profile Video” src=”“https://www.youtube.com/embed/pWgkuIvDdc0“” width=”“560“” height=”“315“” frameborder=”“0“” meta=”08:55″ meta_icon=”fa fa-clock-o”][/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-headphones” badge=”exercise” title=”Ideal customer profile Podcast ” meta=”Podcast” meta_icon=”fa fa-headphones”]Insert podcast.[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”exercise” title=”About your ideal customer PDF” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-paperclip”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”exercise” title=”Your ideal Customer profiling tool” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-paperclip”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][/stm_course_lessons][stm_course_lessons title=”Section 4: Funnels”][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-play-circle” badge=”video” private_lesson=”true” title=”Funnels Video” src=”“https://www.youtube.com/embed/pWgkuIvDdc0“” width=”“560“” height=”“315“” frameborder=”“0“” meta=”08:55″ meta_icon=”fa fa-clock-o”][/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-headphones” badge=”exercise” private_lesson=”true” title=”Funnels Podcast” meta=”Podcast” meta_icon=”fa fa-headphones”]Insert podcast.[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”exercise” private_lesson=”true” title=”Marketing Funnel PDF” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-file”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”exercise” private_lesson=”true” title=”When Marketing ends & Sales Begins PDF” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-file”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][stm_course_lesson icon=”fa fa-file” badge=”exercise” private_lesson=”true” title=”Course Summary” meta=”PDF file” meta_icon=”fa fa-file”]Download PDF[/stm_course_lesson][/stm_course_lessons][/vc_column][/vc_row]
